This is melting-pot music of the most considered and attractive kind... Al-AIedy and his co-producer/engineer Serge Glanzberg have done a fine job in corralling all of these disparate influences into a highly satisfying whole... - Jamie Renton (fROOTS) - Read the review

Fawzy hands us a visa to another world, to a new adventure... a universe where we feel at ease - alien and at home at the same time... Radio Bagdad is like an illustrated book, an invitation to dream... - J. Isselé (DNA journal)

The art of curiosity and of fine mixture" is probably the leitmotif of Fawzy Al-Aiedy's artistic projects, always presented with great finesse... intimate melodies melt with festive rhythms... Very tasty! -- J.F. Pastor (Director Django Reinhardt Centre, Strasbourg).

Ultime Prière - Oriental Sacred Songs (Trio) - See Video

In Ultime Prière ("Ultimate Prayer"), Fawzy evokes the Orient's mystic memory, using texts by Sufi poets of the 10th and 12th century (Ibn Arabi, Hallaj, Ibn Al Faridh) and today.

In Fawzy's vocals we can hear the sorrow of all the victims of war and injustice. Music becomes a tool for dialogue, spirituality, and cultural exchange. This ultimate prayer is a ray of hope for a better world.
